Catey Sullivan

Volunteer, Writer

Catey Sullivan has been a freelance theater critic in Chicago for the past 30 years, primarily for the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Reader. She studied piano for close to a decade, and performed a solo concert in 2017 that raised roughly $500 for A.W.A.K.E., a Berwyn-based non-profit offering after-school science and reading programs. Raised in California, New Jersey and Wheaton, she returned to Chicagoland after undergrad to earn an MFA in creative writing from University of Illinois, Chicago. Since joining forces with Project 88 she has learned at least one indelible lesson: Dream big. It’ll happen.
